Check availabilityThe Superior is our most flexible category. Depending on the room you have between 27 and 34 square metres, and thanks to the sofa bed up to four people can sleep here. For a family with two children, it is the first category that works without a second room.
The rooms are on the lake side and have a side lake view. Some of them also have a balcony. Because they differ in shape and size, we are happy to tell you on the phone which one is free and exactly what it offers. In a house that has grown over centuries, that is more honest than a number in a booking system.
If you are travelling as a couple, what you get here above all is space. The sofa stays folded away, and the bedroom becomes a room you are happy to sit in during the afternoon too. For stays of a week or more, this is the category at which we stop recommending anything bigger.
Families should note the breakfast times: the buffet is open daily from 7:30 am to 10 am, with eggs cooked to order. Children under seven sharing your room eat free; from seven, breakfast is €20.
The restaurant downstairs has its own children’s menu, from Spätzle (soft Swabian egg noodles) to Reiberdatschi (crisp potato pancakes) and schnitzel, all between €4.50 and €9.80. If you are travelling with children, you never have to wonder where to eat in the evening.
Three rooms make up this category: 103 and 108 on the first floor, 208 on the second. They differ in size and layout more than in any other category, hence the range of 27 to 34 square metres. Some have a balcony. Give us a call and we will tell you which one is free.
