The house: what works and what does not
The Terofal is a listed building with more than five hundred years of history. That is why it is not fully accessible to the standard, but it is low-barrier in many places. So that you can judge for yourself whether it suits you, here are the exact details.
Entrance: The hotel entrance has no step. Four steps lead from the beer garden up to the restaurant and bar, but you can also reach both step-free through the hotel entrance.
Lift: It runs from the ground floor up to the top floor under the roof, so every room can be reached by lift.
Rooms: All but four rooms are step-free. All but two rooms have a walk-in shower. Room doors are 81 centimetres wide, bathroom doors 69 centimetres. This means doors, toilets and showers are not wheelchair-suitable in every room. Tell us what you need when you book, and we will choose the right room for you.
Parking: There is no designated disabled parking space. On request, however, we will reserve a space for you right outside the hotel entrance.
Restaurant and beer garden: Both can be reached step-free. Only the men’s toilets are step-free, however, so to be honest we do not describe the restaurant as accessible.
Seeheimat holiday apartments: All apartments have stairs. They are not suitable for guests who use a wheelchair or have limited mobility.
