Meetings on the Schliersee
A bright room in the Heimatmuseum, the local history museum, for up to 99 people, a few minutes on foot from the hotel. Food and rooms come from us, fifty minutes from Munich.
A bright room to work in.
Not a partitioned dining room or a basement, but a room with daylight.
150square metres on the upper floor, with daylight
99people, seating as you need it
€79day delegate rate per person plus VAT, from 40 people
50minutes by train from Munich Central Station
Most hotel meeting rooms are rooms that could just as well be something else: a partitioned dining room, a side room, a windowless space in the basement. So for seminars and conferences we walk a few minutes further, to the function room in the Schlierseer Heimatmuseum, the local history museum on Lautererstraße.
The room is on the upper floor and measures 150 square metres. Above you, open roof timbers and a wooden ceiling, along one side a long row of windows. After eight hours in the room that is no longer an aesthetic detail, but the difference between a good day and a sluggish one.
There is room for up to 99 people. The seating follows the occasion: theatre style for talks, classroom style for seminars, a U-shape for discussion rounds, or rows of tables. Projector, screen and Wi-Fi are in place; you only bring your laptop.
The building belongs to the municipality of Schliersee, which rents out the room in cooperation with us. We take care of everything that makes a meeting day: breaks and lunch from our kitchen in the Xaver Restaurant, the rooms in the Boutique Hotel and the evening in the Xaver Bar. You have one contact, not five.
For groups of 40 or more there is a day delegate rate of €79 plus VAT per person. It covers the room, the equipment, two breaks with tea, coffee, water and buttered pretzels, and lunch. For smaller groups a fee for the meeting room is added.
For groups from Munich the journey is often the strongest argument: around fifty minutes by train from Munich Central Station with no change, then a seven-minute walk to the hotel. And after the last session the lake is not far away.

Equipment included in the day delegate rate.

Daylight
A long row of windows beneath a wooden ceiling and open roof timbers. After a day in the room you notice the difference from a windowless basement hall.
Seating as you wish
Theatre style for talks, classroom for seminars, U-shape for discussion rounds, or rows of tables. Up to 99 people.

Not to be confused.
Two halls, and they could hardly be more different.
Right next to the hotel stands the historic hall of the Schlierseer Bauerntheater, the village peasant theatre, built in 1892 to designs by Emanuel von Seidl. A painted proscenium, a gallery, room for 250 guests at tables. That is the place for company parties, concerts and big celebrations, not for seminars.
The reverse is just as true: for a workshop with twenty people and a projector, the theatre hall is the wrong room. Tell us what you have in mind when you enquire and we will suggest the right one.

The day delegate rate is €79 plus VAT per person and applies from 40 people. It includes the room, equipment, two breaks with tea, coffee, water and buttered pretzels, and lunch. For smaller groups a fee for the meeting room is added. For further breaks, more specialised equipment or upgraded catering we will send you a separate quote.
Is this the Bauerntheater hall?
No, these are two different rooms. The meeting room in the Heimatmuseum is bright and modern, with a wooden ceiling, a long row of windows and a projector. The Bauerntheater hall right next to the hotel is the historic theatre hall from 1892 and the right place for celebrations, concerts and big evenings.
What equipment is available?
Projector and screen, a lighting track and Wi-Fi. This basic equipment is included in the day delegate rate. If you need more specialised equipment, mention it when you enquire and we will arrange it at extra cost.

Yes. Break refreshments and lunch come from our own kitchen in the Xaver Restaurant. In the evening you can dine in the restaurant and end the day in the Xaver Bar.
Can participants stay overnight?
Yes, in the Boutique Hotel with six room categories and in the four Seeheimat holiday apartments on the lake. For larger groups let us know early and we will hold a block of rooms.
How do participants get here?
By train from Munich Central Station in around fifty minutes, with no change. From Schliersee station it is a seven-minute walk to the hotel. For meetings from Munich that is often a more relaxed option than driving out into the countryside.
