General

Can I have breakfast at the hotel as an external guest?

Yes, you're very welcome to enjoy breakfast at Hotel Terofal for €25 per person. Children up to 6 years eat for free, ages 7 to 13 for €15, and from 14 years for €25. Our coffee specialties and egg dishes are included in the price. Please register at the hotel reception by the evening before.

Can the breakfast costs be added to my holiday apartment bill?

Yes, we’re happy to add the breakfast charges to your holiday apartment invoice.

Can I borrow a SUP at the hotel or holiday apartment?

At the Seeheimat property, stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) are available free of charge for guests staying in our holiday apartments.

How can I cancel a booking?

Bookings cannot be changed directly and must be canceled instead. Cancellations must be submitted in writing, preferably by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Are there any cancellation fees?

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 60 days before arrival. For cancellations at a later date, the following fees apply: – 30 to 59 days before arrival: 50% of the rental price – Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the rental price

Do I need to make a deposit?

To guarantee your booking, we require your credit card details. A deposit is only necessary if you do not have a credit card.

Is early or late check-in/out available?

Early check-in is possible on the day of arrival upon request and subject to availability. Late check-in (after 9:00 PM) is possible – please inform us in advance so we can provide you with the door code and leave your apartment keys at reception. Early check-out is possible at any time. Late check-out is available only upon request before your departure day and subject to availability.

What are the regular check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is possible between 3:30 PM and 9:00 PM. Your apartment will be ready from around 3:30 PM. On the day of departure, please vacate the apartment by 10:00 AM.

Which credit cards are accepted?

We accept Visa and Mastercard only.

Are there any special booking offers?

At the moment, we do not offer any special booking deals.

What sights or attractions should I definitely experience?

There are plenty of great destinations in and around Schliersee. In summer, Lake Schliersee is a must – one of the cleanest bathing lakes in Germany, with water temperatures up to 23°C. It’s ideal for swimming and relaxing in the sun. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake, which is why pedal boats and electric boats are popular rental options. SUP boards can also be rented or purchased at the lake. The Wendelstein region and the area around Spitzingsee are perfect for hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, and e-biking. Golf lovers will find several courses nearby, such as Tegernseer Golf Club Bad Wiessee (17 km), Margarethenhof Golf Club at Lake Tegernsee (20 km), and Valley Golf Course (27 km). In winter, the ski bus departs hourly from the “Seehotel Schlierseer Hof” stop and takes you directly to the Spitzingsee ski area in just 15 minutes – free with your guest card. Other nearby ski areas include Schliersee and Sudelfeld. The SLYRS whisky distillery and the Lantenhammer experience distillery are also well-known regional highlights. You’ll find more information at our reception or at the Schliersee Tourist Information in the Vitalwelt Monte Mare.

Yes, we offer full Wi-Fi coverage at Seeheimat. You’ll find the login details either at the hotel reception or in the guest information folder in your apartment.

Are the holiday apartments suitable for allergy sufferers?

Yes, our apartments Leni and Seppi are allergy-friendly.

Are there any additional costs, such as for final cleaning?

No, there are no additional charges for final cleaning. Only the local visitor’s tax (Kurtaxe) will be charged at the end of your stay.

Are towels provided in the holiday apartment?

Yes, all of our apartments are equipped with plenty of hand towels, bath towels, and bathrobes.

Are the holiday apartments non-smoking?

Yes, smoking is not permitted in the apartments.

Is there a safe in the holiday apartment?

Yes, all of our apartments are equipped with a safe.

Are the apartments air-conditioned?

No, our apartments are not air-conditioned.

Pets

Are pets allowed?

Dogs or other pets are welcome in the Liserl and Franzl apartments by prior arrangement and registration. The fee for your dog is €25 per night. Please note that we can accommodate only one dog at a time on the Seeheimat property. Dogs are not permitted in the hotel breakfast room due to the buffet setup. However, you’re welcome to enjoy breakfast with your dog in our adjoining “Herzogstube” room.

Is there an extra charge for dogs?

Yes, the fee for dogs is €25 per night.

Are food bowls available?

Yes, we can provide a food bowl upon request.

Arrival & Parking

Is free parking available?

Yes, each holiday apartment includes one designated parking space free of charge.

Can I charge my electric car?

Currently, there is no EV charging station available at the Seeheimat property. However, our hotel offers a private EV charging station located in the parking area next to the hotel entrance. Subject to availability, you can obtain a charging card at reception. A flat fee of €25.00 per charging session applies.

Is there a shuttle service to the train station?

The train station is about a 5-minute walk from both our hotel and the Seeheimat apartments. We do not offer a shuttle service.

How well is Schliersee connected to public transport?

There are direct train connections from Munich to Schliersee every hour.
